by House of Pia
“House of Pia is a lifestyle. It’s the result of a long journey by creator Pia Agostini, a jewelry designer, gemologist and vintage collector. She is a believer in a simpler and fuller way of life. Everything in Pia’s closet has a story and a soul.”
Recently I was invited to a private showing by House of Pia. It was an intimate brunch with a few very lovely local women, including Pia herself. Pia was gracious to open up her home and studio to show us some of her beautiful vintage clothing, luxury accessories and handmade jewelry.
Pia lives her mantra of making every experience full. Pia’s thoughtfulness was extended to every detail in her presentation, including attractively displayed clothing and jewels, spirits and a special mint tea for us to enjoy, and a warm setting to make guests feel at ease around very fancy items. Her personal energy and love of life is also an added bonus of the experience.
Pia has has an astute eye for fashion and it translates into her collection. The clothing in her closet, which shes has collected from many journeys around the world, is exceptionally unique and available to purchase on her website. Her handmade jewelry also comes with a story. All of her pearls were individually collected from travels to China and brought back home to be strung into the beautiful chokers, necklaces and earrings that you see in these photos. Her jewels are available on her etsy shop.
I now own those pearl earrings with purple fringe tassels. They are stunning and so fun to wear with everything, including the Isabel Marant dress I wore for the House of Pia showing. I thought it would be appropriate to wear a French designer while spending time with another fashionable lady from France.
Thank you to Pia Agostini of House of Pia, Pamela Sorensen of Pamela’s Punch, Heather Shaw Menis of Fifth and Main PR, and Anchyi Wei of Anychyi Wei Designs for a very special afternoon of fashion and friendship.
