Chasing rainbows is actually obtainable this spring.  Rainbows are everywhere and I am absolutely loving it!  It may be the nostalgia of the many mornings I spent glued to the tv watching Rainbow Brite as a child, but whatever it is, I think rainbows present a fun opportunity to add some flare to an outfit.  Fortunately designers have made sophisticated styles like the jacket I am wearing in these photos by Sonia Rykiel.  There are even more subdued was to wear rainbows, check out the cork speckled sandals featured in my shopping picks below.

Other Rainbows I love:

Photo Information:  Photos by Anna Meyer.  Photos taken at The Colonel building in Shaw in front of the No Kings Collective Go-Go Mural.

About the Mural (from the No Kings Collective site):

“The Go-Go Mural at the Colonel celebrates the cultural history of the District of Columbia. The mural is a nod both to the deep history of go-go music and culture as well as the importance of printing and posters within that scene. Centrally featured in the courtyard of the building and visible from the street, the mural aims to integrate history and traditional culture to new construction by including key figures and themes that are part of go-go culture.”

In the spirit of this post, here’s one of the best, original DC go-go jams ever!  The Junkyard Band’s “Sardines.”
